I'm not sure what kind of ink is on the fabric, but if it is pen ink try hairspray. I have a cheap bottle of it at all times in the laundry room. The non-aerosol is the best. Just spray it on the stain, scratch it a bit with your finger nail, then rinse. It is amazing, the stain just disolves away almost instantly. I don't know if it will work for other types of ink or not but it may be worth a try anyway.
