For an above ground pool such as a summer escapes pool by pool poly, fill the inside of your filter with tabs. Approx. 8-10 tabs. Replace basket and place back into pump. Turn on pump and let it run.
To lower chlorine levels in a jacuzzi, you can dilute the water by adding fresh water. You can also use a chlorine neutralizer or a chlorine reducer chemical to lower the levels. Be sure to test the water frequently to monitor the chlorine levels and adjust as needed.
The tabs are slow dissolving whether large or small. You need to add liquid chlorine 12.5% in strength t boost your levels and you must add a product sometimes referred to as conditioner ~ read label on product for instructions as how to use or ask the person at the pool store. Your test strips could also be old or bad if left out in the sun ~ even if kept in the container. You may also have to open the feed more on the feeder but be careful as not increase that too much. Monitor the readings daily or multiple times daily to determine chlorine levels. If the tabs are still not dissolving your chlor. feeder may be hooked up backwards or the valve is closed. Try the above adjustments and retest the water. k
Sure you can use liquid chlorine and walk around the pool. You can use granular chlorine directly into the pool. If it doesn't disolve before it gets to the bottom you should brush it around so it won't stain. Never add pucks/tabs directly to the pool OR THE SKIMMER. (BAD FOR THE EQUIPMENT) They will sink to the bottom and stain.
The number of chlorine pucks to use in a pool depends on the size of the pool and the manufacturer's instructions. It is recommended to use 1-3 chlorine pucks per 10,000 gallons of water in your pool. It is important not to overuse chlorine pucks as it can lead to over-chlorination and cause irritation or damage to the pool equipment.
Yes, you can use chlorine in a pool without a filter, but it is not recommended. A filter is essential for removing debris and contaminants from the water, and without a filter, the effectiveness of the chlorine may be reduced, leading to poor water quality and potential health risks. It is best to use both chlorine and a filter for optimal pool maintenance.
I use 2 tabs of chlorine the 2" tabs in a floater it works well.
How do you know that it is in fact a chlorine stain unless you have been using chlorine tabs and the tabs are tossed, spilled or dropped into the pool. Tabs will burn the surface that it touches and often these stains are not removable.
use 3" tabs to keep your pool chlorinated. It has conditioner and dissolves slowly over the course of a week or two.
try it out and tell me

One site is 911 tabs. Also, you could use MX tabs.
A Salt Chlorinator works by a small electric charge that breaks down the salt before going into the pool.. Thus making chlorine. (in a nut shell) A chlorinator you put tabs in just has water flowing through it breaking down the chlorine tabs and expelling it into the water. For a totally green pool that is algea, chemical, stain and scum line resistant. use a product called "ARMOR GUARD" it will save you about 50% on chemicals and will hold about 40% more heat in your pool. read more at www.ecosmartalternative.com for more information.
Depends on what the chlorine demand is for your pool. 1 inch tablets are not compressed as hard as 3 inch tabs and skimmer sticks. If your pool requires more chlorine you may want to use 1 inch tablets. If it has a low chlorine demand skimmer sticks may be all your need. Skimmer sticks are the hardest compressed and slower dissolving.

Older versions of many browsers did not use tabs. Internet Explorer was one such browser with earlier versions.
Yes you still need a pump and filter. The saltwater system generates chlorine and eliminates the need for chlorine tabs. You will still need to keep the water balanced and continue normal pool maintenance.
