∙ 9y agoNormally, the number of electrons and protons is the same, so the atom is balanced electrically. When electrons are added or removed, the atom carries a negative or positive charg, this affects the way the atom reacts chemically, but does not affect the stability of the nucleus atom's radioactivity.
To determine the stability of an isotope you can use the ratio neutron/proton (N/Z).
A−Z=N
(Atomic Mass )-(atomic number)= number of neutrons
Nuclei with even number of protons or neutrons are more stable than odd number
Excessive or inadequate number of neutrons, as compared to the stability-line, leads to instability of the nucleus, leading to its radioactivity for example Beta decay (more neutrons compared to the number of protons ), Positron emission and electron capture...

An atom is composed of electrons(-), protons(+), and neutrons( ). The nucleus is composed of neutrons and protons, and the electrons surround it.
No, the nucleus contains protons and neutrons. Electrons are outside of the nucleus.
Protons and neutrons are located within the nucleus. Electrons are revolving around the nucleus.
Protons, neutrons and electrons are located in the atom. The protons and neutrons are located in the atomic nucleus; the electrons are around the nucleus, arranged in shells.
Protons and neutrons are in the center of an atom in the nucleus. Electrons are dispersed around the nucleus.

Protons are found in nucleus, as neutrons are also.
Neutrons and protons are placed in the atomic nucleus; electrons move surrounding this nucleus in clouds of electrons.
