At S.T.P.,

1 mole of any gas = 22.4 Litres(It's a given. I assume you know this one.)

Therefore,

1 Litre of a gas = 1/22.4 = 0.0446 moles

Out of these 0.0446 moles, 80% is Oxygen gas.

Number of moles of Oxygen gas = 0.0446 x 80% = 0.0446 x 80/100 = 0.0357 moles.

1 mole of any gas = 6.02 x 1023 units (This is also a given, known as the Avagadro's constant.)

Therefore,

0.0357 moles = 0.0357 x 6.02 x 1023 = 2.15 x 1022 molecules of Oxygen gas.

Which closed cylinder contains the same number of gas molecules at STP as a 4.0 liter closed cylinder containing O2 gas at STP?

ANY closed cylinder of 4.0 litre will contain the same number of molecules of ANY gas as the 4.0 liter closed cylinder containing O2 gas at the SAME temperature and pressure, since then the volume only depends on the number of molecules, not on the kind of molecules of the gasses concerned

Does gas have a volume?

Molecules of a gas, like molecules of any substance, take up a certain amount of space. So gas molecules can be measured by volume which is the distance (length, width, height) that the molecules occupy. How tightly they are packed together in a container is measured by pressure. Knowing both values will tell you how much of a gas is present.

Does a gas have more moleules than a liquid?

No. The state of a substance does not tell the number of molecules present. In a gas, the molecules move more freely than in a liquid as they are not bound to each other by intermolecular forces. If you're going by volume, a given volume of a gas will generally contain fewer molecules except at very high pressures.

What large structure occupies of the volume in a plant cell?

The vacuole occupies most of a typical plant cell's volume. It is basically a pocket filled with water containing molecules.

Can the removing of energy increase the volume of a substance because the molecules come closer together?

No. It can increase the volume in some cases, but not BECAUSE the molecules come closer together. If the molecules come closer together, the volume will DECREASE.

What volume of hydrogen chloride is produced by the reaction of 40 cm3 of chlorine with hydrogen?

Assuming that hydrogen, chlorine, and hydrogen chloride are all ideal gases and that the temperature and pressure are kept constant, the volume of gas depends only on the number of molecules of gas present. Also, at standard temperature and pressure, hydrogen and chlorine occur as diatomic molecules, and hydrogen chloride also occurs as diatomic molecules. The equation for the reaction is Cl2 + H2 -> 2 HCl. Therefore, the number of molecules of gas is the same before and after the reaction if both gases are present in the initial mixture that has a volume of 40 cm3. In that instance, the volume is the same before and after the reaction. However, the question seems to imply that hydrogen is supplied from an outside source. In that instance, there will be twice as many molecules after the reaction as before, so that the final volume will be 80 cm3.

What is the difference of percent of mass and percent of volume?

Assumption of kinetic theory of gas?

The volume occupied by gas molecules is negligible when compared to volume occupied by the gas.The collisions between gas molecules-gas molecules and gas molecules-walls of the container are perfectly elastic.
