the element carbon is $700/g
Depends on the arrangement of the Carbon atoms.
As graphite, about $3000 per tonne = $3 per kilo = 0.3c per gram.
As diamond, the $700 per gram price would apply to a 'reject' stone. A high quality stone would work out at perhaps $100,000 per gram or more.
I would love to hear a price for buckyballs or carbon nanotubes!
It depends on the purity and the form.
If you don't need it to be absolutely pure, then about the same price as coal, because that's what coal mostly is.
If you need very high purity carbon, then it can be quite expensive, particularly if you want the tetrahedral network form.... we call that "diamond."
This depends: the price is different for diamond or coal !
about 21 dollars for 100 grams
How much does Carbon cost?
How can we measure carbon dioxide.
2.5 million
An estimated price may be 4 000 000 US $.
approximately 200$ per kg so about 100$ per pound.
Uranium price is 115 USD/kg for the unrefined oxide U3O8, in August 2011. 1 international ounce = 28,349 523 125 g; 1 kg = 1 000 g.
Burning one kilo of carbon releases about 3.6 kilos of carbon dioxide. Carbon has an atomic weight of 12. Oxygen has an atomic weight of 16. The oxidation of carbon results in carbon dioxide, atomic weight 44. So 44/12 is 3.667. There are other things in coal besides pure carbon, slight impurities, so in general 1 kg of coal releases about 3.6 kg of CO2.
1 kg
If 1 kg of tomatoes costs 5 CHF, 0.1 kg will cost 1/10th of 5 CHF, so the cost will be 0.5 kg.
i dont no
2.5 million
2.2 POUNDS
130
Typically 2.31 kg.
depends where you buy it! LOL
5 sniffs and a sneeze...
8 is the answer . Since half a kg is 500g, 100 g would cost 1/5 as much. 1/5 of 40 is 8.
There are 1 Million mg in 1 kg.. so $120.00/1,000,000 = $0.00012
There is no such measurement as a "unit".
