Sodium Chloride and water, and a lot of heat. The product would be a warm common salt solution. (H Cl) + (Na O H) -> (Na Cl) + (H2 0) + heat. And if experiment is not conducted safely: (H Cl) + (Na O H) -> (Na Cl) + (H2 0) + heat + body and eye injury.

NaCl

What are the reactants in this reaction naoh hcl -- nacl h2o?

The reactants are NaCl and H2O. A becks: HCl NaOH

Identify the reactants in the reaction HCl plus NaOH NaCl plus H2O?

The reactants are HCl and NaOH.

If the reactants of a reaction are HCI and NaOH what is the product?

Depending on the reaction, may be reactant or product.

When sodium chloride is made what are the reactants?

The reaction is: NaOH + HCl = NaCl + H2O

What is product in chemistry?

The result of a reaction/reactants. NaOH and HCl are reactants here.NaOH + HCl --> NaCl + H2ONaCl, a salt is a product of this reaction and water ( H2O ), though you are just adding more water to the solution, is also a product of this reaction.

What is the product of a reaction that take place when sodium oxide combines with water?

The product is sodium hydroxide. The reaction equation is Na2O + H2O -> 2 NaOH.

Where are the products and the reactants in a chemical equation?

The Reactants are the molecules which initiate the reaction, the products are the molecules which are developed by the reaction. For instance, in the following formula: NaOH + HCl -> NaCl + H2O the reactants are found on the left side of the arrow, NaOH and HCl and the products on the right side of the arrow, NaCl and H2O.

What is the product and balanced equation of C8H5O4K NaOH?

Here are only two reactants.

What is the product when Na2Cr2O7 reacts with NaOH?

The chemical reaction is:Na2Cr2O7 + 2 NaOH = 2 Na2CrO4 + H2O

What are the products and reactants of a chemical change?

The reactants are the "befores" and the products are the "afters." For example, in this chemical reaction (acid-base neutralization): HCl + NaOH -> NaCl + H2O hydrochloric acid (HCl) and sodium hydroxide (NaOH) are the reactants, and sodium chloride (NaCl) and water (H2O) are the products.

How you would show reactants have been used up(nacl plus naoh)?

NaCl doesn't undergo a chemical reaction with NaOH, so you wouldn't be able to tell.
