The actual inside of a baked cake should be homogeneous if it was mixed well while in batter form! :)

Since homogeneous means uniform throughout, same color and textures while heterogeneous means different textures and colors ect. :)

assuming you meant homogenous or heterogenous:

assuming that it is mixed well, and is not lumpy, probably homogenous: only one uniform phase
