In it's natural state "chlorine" is a gas. It must be bonded with something to be useful for pools etc. Like sodium, giving us sodium chloride.
Chlorine has a lot of different isotopes but the 2 stable ones are chlorine 35 and chlorine 37
Chlorine (Cl) atoms make up the element chlorine.
Breathing in chlorine gas can cause irritation to the respiratory system, leading to symptoms such as coughing, shortness of breath, chest pain, and throat irritation. Inhaling high levels of chlorine gas can lead to more severe symptoms such as difficulty breathing, chest tightness, and even lung damage. Immediate medical attention is necessary if chlorine gas is inhaled.
Chlorine dioxide is a different chemical compound from chlorine. While they both contain the element chlorine, there is no chlorine in the form of Cl2 in chlorine dioxide. Chlorine dioxide (ClO2) is a strong oxidizing agent used for water treatment and disinfection.
Combined chlorine is when the chlorine molecule has attached itself to other molecules in water. In other words it has "combined" with something else in the water. Those could be iron, manganese, ammonia or other things depending on the source water. Free chlorine is the molecules that are "free" in the water to do the disinfection.
Cl2 everyone it is not that hard, 2 x chlorine is Cl2
Gold reacts directly only with chlorine Gold is very high in the electromotive series, about 1.6 volt (similar to chlorine) that means hard to oxidize
Chlorine is considered a hard substance. It is an essential element found in nature and is commonly used in various industrial and household applications, particularly in water treatment and disinfection processes.
Recycled paper, because non-recycled has more products in it such as bleach, Chlorine, other elements that contain chlorine are used such as chlorine dioxide, which still produces the carcinogen, dioxin. which is hard to decompose.
That is a bit hard to do because chlorine does not stain, it bleaches, in other words the colour of your swim suit is a stain. when strong chlorine gets on it bleaches it away so you would probably have to re die it. definitely easier to get a new pair.
Fluorine smells like Chlorine and Ozone, kinda, its hard to describe. I know, yum yum! :)
It Turns Green. Its not the chlorine, it av=ctually hard metals such as copper
what has happened is the chlorine has weaken due to the hard rain to reverse this add two(2) to three (3) pounds of chlorine and wait several hours.you will see a improvment in the water clairity.in other words the water will clear up.it just takes a little time
The element with an atomic mass of 35.453 is chlorine. It is a halogen and has the atomic number 17.
You just have to watch you pH and alkalinity levels and adjust at least weekly.
it would be hard t bleach a person why why would anyone want to do that?
