Citric acid is the stronger acid of the two because the molecule has three acid groups as opposed to malic acid which has only two. Citric acid will therefore dissociate more easily.
From personal experience, malic acid is the more strongly flavoured though!
Well, citric acid is a tri-protic weak acid, 1st pKa1=3.09, 2nd pKa2=4.75 and 3rd pKa3=5.41.
Lactic acid is mono protic weak: pKa 3.86
So lactic acid is weaker than the first (most important, 3.09) one of citric acid.
Both malic acid and citric acid are, surprisingly, acids. They are naturally occurring in many fruits and vegetables, and are often added to other foods to change their flavours.
tartaric acid
hi people
Weak
yes
Nitric acid is a considerably stronger acid than phosphoric acid.
No, hydrochloric acid is stronger than citric acid.
Nitric acid is the strongest, the other two are weak acids, though among these they are relatively strong, far more stronger than acetic acid.
no because citric acid is lemon jucie

No, acetic acid is much weaker,
phosphine ignites in air at 150 degree to form phosphoric acid
citrus and malic acids but a lemons acid is more powerful than a potatoes even with just citrus acid because citrus friuts like the oragne provide great amounts of vitamin c witch keeps you going
This depends on the application !
salt is actually soluble than citric acid and sugar
why is citric acid more water soluable than baking soda
This means that citric acid dissolves into a solution faster than salt.
