Is a banana a homogeneous or heterogeneous?

it is homogeneous because you mix it and you blend it

What is the difference between a homogenous mixture and a heterogeneous?

In a homogeneous mixture all substances are blended or mixed together to form one uniformed substance. In heterogeneous mixtures substances do not blend or mix together and you can visually see two or more items have been mixed together. Water + Oil are a heterogeneous mixture. Water + milk is a homogeneous mixture.

Would a ice cream sundae be classified as a heterogeneous mixture?

Yes, it is a heterogeneous mixture because the toppings aren't consistently mixed into the ice cream. However, if you blend it, it's possible to make a homogeneous mixture.

Is a pail of water and sand a homogeneous mixture?

Even finely graded sand would be classed as heterogeneous

What is difference between homogeneous and heterogeneous mixture?

Homogenous mixtures are ones in which you cannot see the different parts that make it up. An example is milk. Heterogenous mixtures are ones that you can make out and seperate the different parts easily such as chex mix. with a heterogeneous mixture you can see the difference but a homogeneous mixture is mixed soo well you can't tell the difference. A heterogeneous mixture is one that does not blend smoothly and in which the individual substances remain distinct. A homogeneous mixture has the same composition throughout, and always has a single phase. A heterogeneous mixture's components are not evenly distributed and are immiscible, or not able to be mixed. A homogeneous mixture's components are evenly distributed and are miscible, or able to be mixed.

Is sugar a compound heterogeneous or homogeneous?

sugar is homogeneous Because 1. sugar homogeneous in light of the fact that its one compound 2. iron filings homogeneous on the grounds that its one component (Fe) 3. granola bar heterogeneous in light of the fact that its produced using distinctive fixings 4. plastic wrap is homogeneous yet just on the off chance that it has no plasticiser in it. 5. concrete walkway heterogeneous in light of the fact that it is a blend of sand, bond and water.

Is human heart homogeneous?

The human heart would be heterogeneous. In general Homogeneous means two things that blend together to make one visible object. (I.e Homogenized Milk, Stirred Paint, etc). The heart would be heterogeneous due to the fact you can see veins and arteries running throughout it.
