More commonly, it is called a beaker, but I have seen the word "beeker" used as well on some scientific sites.... Perhaps there are 2 spellings. Yes, a beaker or beeker is a long, narrow capsule-like shaped glass in which you can measure liquids. Along the side of the beeker there are measuring marks, just like a ruler.
