Sulphuric acid in pure form is an oily liquid no so much harmful butis, because it is an acid, sulphuric acid if accidentally contacts any part of body don't wash with water (it is more dangerous) ist of all wipe the liquid with a cotton cloth or cotton itself then wash with water,

In any laboratory situation where harmful chemicals are being used, long pants, closed-toed shoes, a lab coat/apron, and safety goggles should be worn. If your are working with stronger concentrations of HCl (above 6M), nitrile gloves and a fume hood should be used.
