Orange Juice (Citric Acid)
Egg Shells ( Calcium Carbonate).
Remember the general reaction eq'n
Acid + Carbonate = Salt + Water + Carbon dioxide.
Yes, making orange-sicles involves a chemical change. When you mix the orange juice with other ingredients and freeze it, new chemical bonds are formed between the molecules in the mixture, resulting in a transformation from liquid to solid form.
When baking soda and sugar are added to orange juice, the baking soda can react with the acids in the orange juice and create carbon dioxide gas, resulting in fizzing or bubbling. The sugar will simply dissolve in the juice without any noticeable reaction.
Mixing orange juice with vinegar will create a chemical reaction that produces carbon dioxide gas. This gas will cause bubbles to form and the mixture to fizz. The acidity of both the orange juice and vinegar will also be enhanced when combined.
When orange juice and baking soda are mixed, a chemical reaction occurs. The acid in the orange juice reacts with the base in the baking soda to produce carbon dioxide gas, which causes the mixture to bubble and fizz. This reaction may alter the taste and consistency of the orange juice.
Squeezing oranges for juice is not a chemical change because it does not alter the chemical composition of the oranges. It is a physical change where the oranges are only being mechanically processed to extract the juice. The same chemical components of the oranges remain in the juice.
Orange juice is a mixture, it does not have a chemical formula.
it is physical because there is no new matter will produce(( water+ juice dissolved)) just
Chalk is dissolved by an acid. Oranges and orange juice contain an acid. Therefore, chalk is dissolved by orange juice.

Orange Juice is Acidic - Alka-Seltzer is a base (Alkaline) - It would be like trying to light a candle made out of ice. What you can do is putt 60 Alka-Seltzer tablets in a glass mason jar with 80% water in it and screw that top on tightly to deal with depression and heartburn. I found this works better than mixing with orange juice. I also know how to make a hole in a beer can toward the top so essentially you are drinking out of a cup for increased guzzle ability.
because
because of the citric acid inside the orange juice
Yes, squeezing an orange for juice is a physical change. This process involves the mechanical breaking down of the orange's cells to release the juice, but it does not alter the chemical composition of the orange itself. The juice remains orange juice, and the original properties of the fruit are still intact, making it a physical transformation rather than a chemical one.
There is no chemical formula for orange juice because it is considered a mixture. Each of the ingredients has its own chemical formula.
My brother dissolves sugar in his orange juice to make it sweet. You can dissolve salt in water to make saltwater.
yes it can
