Depends on whether salt is soluble in the glue or not. Salt would be soluble in Ordinary white wood glue, for instance. But not in epoxy glue. In epoxy, it'd simply turn the glue gritty. In wood glue it'd dissolve.

What happens if you mix water glue and salt together?

When water, glue, and salt are mixed together, the salt will dissolve in the water while the glue will remain as a separate substance. The mixture may become thicker due to the addition of the glue, but the salt will not interact chemically with the glue.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN ACIDS AND AND BASES ARE MIXED TOGETHER?

When they are mixed together, a chemical reaction occurs. This chemical reaction is called neutralisation reaction. It is called so because they both neutralise each other to produce a salt and water. Also remember the following points. When a strong acid and weak base are mixed, the salt formed is an acidic salt. When a strong base and weak acid are mixed, the salt formed is a basic salt. When both the acid and base are strong, then the salt formed is a neutral salt .

When an acid and a base are mixed together which two products are formed?

When an acid and a base are mixed together, the products formed are water and a salt. The salt is usually a compound composed of the cation from the base and the anion from the acid.

What happen to white sugar when mixed with iodized salt?

When white sugar is mixed with iodized salt, the two substances do not chemically react. Instead, they remain physically mixed together. The taste of the salt may slightly enhance the sweetness of the sugar due to a contrast in flavors.

What compounds are created when an acid and base are mixed together?

When an acid and a base are mixed together, they neutralize each other to form water and a salt. The reaction between an acid and a base is known as a neutralization reaction. The salt formed depends on the specific acid and base that are mixed.

When sugar and salt are mixed together are what?

When sugar and salt are mixed together, they form a homogenous mixture called a solution. This means that the sugar and salt molecules are evenly distributed throughout the mixture, making it difficult to distinguish the individual components by sight.
