This part may be hard, and in some cases dangerous. You could also try to pry the cap out with your finger nails, or just cut the barrel shorter to get rid of the cap. For this part, try to avoid the bic pens that have moy written on the barrel/tube part, as the cap is hard to remove. The last part is hard to do, and it may be dangerous. Back to the ink cartridge, carefully twist off the plastic part that surrounds the tip. If you cant twist it off, use pilers and wrap the pen in thick fabric.
