When dry and saturated steam is caused to expand in a nozzle, the actual measured steam flow is found to be greater than the theoretical calculated flow. This is due to the time lag in the condensation of steam & the steam remains in dry state instead of wet. Such a steam is called supersaturated steam.
This time lag is cause due to the the face that, the converging part of the nozzle is to short and the steam velocity is too high that the molecules of steam have insufficient time to form droplets.
A supersaturated solution has more solute dissolved in it than what would normally be possible under equilibrium conditions. This can happen when a solution is prepared at high temperatures and then cooled down quickly, preventing the excess solute from precipitating out.
You can identify a supersaturated solution when you see undissolved solute at room temperature. This occurs when more solute has been dissolved in a solvent than should normally be possible under the given conditions.
How a saturated solution can become supersaturated?
The solute will eventually fall out of a supersaturated solution
Heating the solution increases the solubility of the solute, allowing more of it to dissolve. This creates a supersaturated solution, where the solution is holding more solute than it normally can at that temperature. Upon cooling, the excess solute remains in solution, resulting in a supersaturated solution.
Supersaturated means something contains more liquid then necessary.

Supersaturated
A solution become supersaturated when the limitt of solute solubility at a given temperature is exceeded.
Adding more solute the solution become supersaturated.
A supersaturated solution has a concentration of solute greater than the solubility at a specific temperature.
Supersaturated is a verb. It's the past tense of supersaturate. It can also be used as an adjective.
A supersaturated solution is obtained.
yes
A supersaturated solution contain an amount of solute higher than the limit of solubility at a given temperature and pressure.
Put in more than it can dissolve, heat it up to force it to dissolve, then let it cool. It's now supersaturated.
