well i have conducted an experiment on black salt as per my requirements and i found out that it comprised of the following cations and anions:
anions: Na(sodium),NH4,Ni(very little)
cations:S^2-,Cl,CH3COO^-
although the presence of nickel is still a mystery to me as we r taking about edible salt.
but these were my experiment's results.
thankyou

Mixing salt and water is a physical change, not a chemical change. The salt does not change its chemical composition when it dissolves in water, only its physical state.
physical
Making saltwater is a physical change because it only involves mixing two substances, salt and water, without altering their chemical composition. In this case, the salt dissolves in the water, but the salt molecules remain the same.
Dissolving salt in water is an example of a physical change. Although the ions of sodium and chlorine separate when the salt dissolves, no chemical reaction takes place.
It is a physical change because the chemical composition of salt and water do not change. You can separate the salt and water physically by allowing the water to evaporate, which leaves the salt.
No. Salt is a season derived from minerals. The chemical composition of ordinary table salt is Sodium Chloride. Pepper is a season derived from plants; black pepper.
salt=NaCl, its chemical composition
Mixing salt and water is a physical change, not a chemical change. The salt does not change its chemical composition when it dissolves in water, only its physical state.
Yes. Pure table salt is Sodium chloride ( NaCl ) .
Common salt (Sodium Chloride) has the formula NaCl.
It is a physical change because the chemical composition of the salt and water does not change.
No - aquarium salt has a different chemical composition to that of common table salt.
The chemical composition remain unchanged.
Each salt has a different chemical composition and consequently different chemical and physical properties.
The dissolving of salt in water is a physical change because it does not result in a chemical reaction. The salt molecules are simply breaking apart and becoming dispersed in the water, but there is no change in the chemical composition of the salt.
The melting point is a physical property of materials.
No. a mineral is a compound of fixed chemical composition and of fixed crystal structure.
