Dalton's atomic model simply stated that all elements were made of tiny atoms, he said nothing about the structure of those atoms. Rutherford proposed that most of the mass of the atom is concentrated in a tiny central nucleus with positive charge.
The development of atomic models demonstrates the scientific process by showcasing how theories are refined and improved over time through experimentation and evidence. Scientists initially proposed basic models based on limited information, such as Dalton's indivisible atoms. As new discoveries were made, such as the existence of subatomic particles, models like Thomson's plum pudding and Rutherford's nuclear model were developed and later refined into the modern quantum mechanical model through further experimentation and observation.
The previous models of the atom, such as the Bohr and Rutherford models, described the atom as a miniature solar system with electrons orbiting around a nucleus. In contrast, the quantum mechanical model views electrons as existing in "clouds" of probability known as orbitals, where the exact location of an electron cannot be pinpointed but rather described in terms of probabilities. The quantum mechanical model also accounts for the wave-particle duality of electrons and incorporates principles of quantum physics.
Plum pudding, Solar system, Electron cloud.
You did not specify but seeing as my course is currently specifying in this field I have at least minimalist credentials in laments... Older models had electrons following an orbit which is frankly not true, modern day electron cloud models show that they are roughly here whereas for instance, the Bohr model shows them following a strict orbit
Dalton's atomic theory built upon earlier models by proposing that matter is composed of indivisible particles called atoms, each with specific characteristics. This idea aligned with earlier theories that also described matter as consisting of tiny, fundamental building blocks. Dalton's model provided a more comprehensive explanation by incorporating new experimental observations and proposing that atoms combine in simple whole number ratios to form compounds.
Example of scientists: Dalton, Thomson. Rutherford, Bohr etc.
difference between holistic and medical models
The difference between models and theories is nothing hahahahahaha loser go look in your book
Unlike MM in HMM state is hidden.
The Greeks knew you could split an atom via nuclear fission, and used philospohy and logic. Dalton used experimental plates to check for a nucleus and came up with his model experimentally.
There is a tremendous difference between high end models and low end models aside from price. Higher end products are more reliable and generally have more product specifications.
Both had electrons, different -- rutherford had a nucleus.
Nothing.
