C2H6 is the structure of ethane although the chemical formula can be shown in the displayed formula as well. This is shown by 6 C-H single bonds and 1 C-C single bond as carbon needs 4 bonds to other atoms.
C2H6 is called ethane. It is a hydrocarbon compound consisting of two carbon atoms and six hydrogen atoms.
The chemical formula C2H16 does not exist. However, if you meant C2H6, the balanced equation for its combustion in oxygen is: 2 C2H6 + 7 O2 → 4 CO2 + 6 H2O
The structural formula for ethyl butanoate is CH3CH2CH2COOCH2CH3.
The structural formula for dichloropropane is ClCH₂CHCl₂, and its condensed formula is CH₃CHCl₂.
C2H6 is the structure of ethane although the chemical formula can be shown in the displayed formula as well. This is shown by 6 C-H single bonds and 1 C-C single bond as carbon needs 4 bonds to other atoms.
NO!!! n-ethane exists just as Ethane, because the two carbons in ethane cannot be branched. However, n- butane and iso-butane are structurally, n- butane ; CH3-CH2-CH2-CH3 ( There is o branching in the carbon chain. iso-butane is CH3CH(CH3)CH3 ( There is a methyl branch ,not a straight chain. However, under the modern IUPAC nomenclature ; n- butane remains as Butane. iso-butane is renamed as 2-methylpropane.
Ethane is C2H6.
A hydrocarbon chemical.
Both the choices given are acceptable and correct chemical formulas in most contexts, because each one shows the presence of two carbon atoms and six hydrogen atoms in each molecule. The second formula is preferred in some contexts because it hints at the structural formula of the molecule, which has each hydrogen atom bonded directly to only one of the carbon atoms, and in order to further emphasize this point the formula is sometimes written as H3C-CH3.
C2h6
The simplest ratio of atoms in a molecule i.e. if a molecule had molecular formula C2H6 Its empirical formula would be CH3
The chemical formula of ethanal (acetic aldehyde) is CH3CHO.
C2h6
C2H6 is called ethane. It is a hydrocarbon compound consisting of two carbon atoms and six hydrogen atoms.
The formula for ethane is C2H6, and the formula for ethylene is C2H4. Both molecules contain two carbon atoms.
It is the chemical formula for the gas, Ethane. You may be able to visualize it better if we write the formula as: CH3 - CH2 - CH3
