First look at what it is used for then decide if that is dangerous. Its used to make car batteries, those are not too dangerous, but somewhat dangerous. Sulphuric acid is both useful and dangerous. It is like asking whether a dam is useful or dangerous. It is both useful and it does present a danger. It is the most used acid in industry. However, it can literally suck water out of your skin if concentrated and if not it can cause severe burns.
