If you're talking about soap bubbles, they go down simply because the little bit of soap they are made of is heavier than the air.

I think its also because when you blow into them, you blow Carbon Dioxide, wich (I am pretty sure) is heavier than the rest of the air.

Why do vapor bubbles rise to surface when a liquid is boiling?

Vapor bubbles rise to the surface during boiling because the liquid is being heated, causing the molecules to gain energy and form gas bubbles. These bubbles are lighter than the surrounding liquid and therefore float to the surface. The bubbles burst at the surface, releasing the gas into the air.

How do you dissolve washing up liquid bubbles?

To dissolve washing up liquid bubbles, you can simply add a small amount of vinegar to the water. The vinegar helps break down the soap molecules, allowing the bubbles to disperse more easily. Alternatively, you can wait for the bubbles to naturally break down over time.

How can glycerine be used to create long-lasting bubbles?

Glycerine can be used to create long-lasting bubbles by slowing down the evaporation of water in the bubble solution, which helps the bubbles to stay intact for a longer period of time.

What makes lava lamp bubbles flow up and down?

Lava lamp bubbles flow up and down due to a combination of heat from the lamp's bulb causing the liquid to expand and become less dense, causing it to rise, and then cooling as it moves away from the heat source, becoming more dense and sinking back down. This continuous cycle creates the mesmerizing motion of the bubbles in a lava lamp.

How do you get a shot of the barreleye fish on mission atlantis on poptropica?

Go to the left side where the barrelfish is behind the rock wall. Use your sub to block the vent that blows bubbles out at you. The bubbles will go inside and shove the barrelfish down. Go down and block the vent there, and the bubbles push him right. Go right and block that vent to shove him to the upper left where you can get your photo.

Would bubbles go up or down if there was more carbon dioxside ddissolved in the water?

Bubbles would go down because more carbon dioxide dissolved in water increases the water's density, making it heavier and causing bubbles to sink rather than rise. Additionally, the increased amount of carbon dioxide may reduce the water's oxygen content, affecting the buoyancy of bubbles.

Does the bubble side of a solar pool cover go up or down if the bubble side is black and the smooth side is blue?

Personally, I disagree with the logic used by those above. If the bubbles are up, there will be larger surface area to absorb the sun's heat. Increased levels of heat absorption seems more important than the rate of heat transfer, especially when considering the fact that heat transfer takes place almost instantaniously.****i have tried it both ways, bubbles up or down. makes little or no difference heating. with bubbles down, though, it is easier to clean debrie off the cover and keep it clean.
