Why is benzene not considered a cycloalkene?

First of all a cycloalkene could be many things, such as, cyclopentane, cyclohexane or like. If you mean the difference between cyclohexene and benzene, then there is the double bound, 3 of a kind in a benzene molecule.

However, the actual value was found to be -206 kilojoules per mole, which is quite different from the predicted value. This showed that benzene is more stable than if it had been a cycloalkene.
