Sort of. The Carbon Dioxide will fizz away, and the water will start to evaporate. If there was ice in the drink you might see a bit of a split between the lighter water and the heavier soda. But they don't split out like vinegar and oil.
Since a perfectly neutral liquid such as distilled water has a pH of 7, a liquid with a pH of 7.1 is just very slightly alkaline. Perhaps it has a bit of soap in it.

A can of carbonated beverage contains a liquid with carbon dioxide dissolved in it. Shaking the can forces the CO2 to leave solution and concentrate in the liquid-free space at the top. When you open the can, all this CO2 vents into the atmosphere in a right hurry...taking quite a bit of the liquid with it.
Carbonated sodas can bloat the abdomen a bit. As a result, the body will need some space to adjust to the expansion. Shapewear does allow some give and take in regards to expanding the abdomen, such as regular breathing. It isn't dangerous, in other words.

The bit on the bridle makes it so when the horse tries to graze, it chokes. Also, the horse can step on the reins and trip. Also, if you leave a bit on a horse unsupervised the horse can severely injure itself....including cutting it's tongue off and/or cutting it's mouth open. You should NEVER tie a horse with a bit in it's mouth or leave a horse unattended with a bit in.
