A teenage girl and a detective, who happens to be a dead man's skeleton, fight the forces of evil with magic powers whilst trying to save the world and hide the fact that magic exists from the normal world. Also there is a lot of clever wit and sarcasm.
There are currently 6 novels and seven novellas. 6 of which are featured at the end of each novel in paperback, one novella was released as part of World Book Day 2012.
The books are currently in process of being made into a movie series and a very loose rumour says that Johnny Depp will play the skeleton detective.
