Water level is flat on sea according to civil engineering because water level is same on two point of a flat road. Building top or two point of a wall is flat because water level is same. A top of a building is known as flat if water level is same from all of its side. Water level can be checked by means of two sides of a transparent nylon tube or hose also in civil engineering by putting water inside it as per the length of tube or hose and both the sides had to be raised at the two points where it has to be checked. The level depends on gravitational force on earth from the center of the earth. So surface of road is known as flat. Even table or bed is known as flat. But surface of earth is known as round from outside the gravitational zone of earth from the space, not from earth. From the surface of earth earth is flat because water level is same. From the surface of sea sea is flat because water level of sea level is same. The concept is from sea level as per physics. So it is known for altitude for a location on earth means height above sea level. For example altitude of New York City is 33 feet above sea level.

What are the application of pH test in civil engineering?

pH stands for "potential Hydrogen". In the field of civil engineering, pH is a factor that is considered in corrosion control, coagulation and water softening. All the pH related processes are controlled by civil engineers. pH test is beneficial to check the A controlled value of pH is desired in water supplies, sewage treatment and chemical process plants.

What are subjects included in civil engineering?

Civil Engineering has its great contribution all over the world with innovative and developed structures. Without Civil Engineering, our civilization would have not been possible. Large Civil Engineering giants like Moffatt & Nichol have contributed great services towards many important projects in the field of Civil Engineering and growing rapidly with more upcoming structures.

What is Civil engineering and how does it influence resources energy and development?

Civil Engineering is an engineering field which relates to creating civic structures and amenities. Civil Engineering has made great many contributions towards energy resources and development by creating many new technologies and structures for the benefit of the society. Structures involved are created for coastal, environmental and water resources, urban water fronts and marinas energy, hydraullic structures, watershed restorations, and more.

What job opportunities are there for a person with a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering?

The job opportunities for a civil engineer is very bright. Since only few graduates come out of universities every year having Bachelor's degree in civil engineering the demand for civil engineers are very high, particularly in middle east and Asian countries. A civil engineering graduate can choose a variety of job options like Construction management, Project management, Real estate, Structural engineeiring, Foundation engineering, water resource, environmental engineering,Transportation systems, Geographical information system, even in aircraft engineering. It is upto you to choose a carrier in which part of civil engineering you would like to go and company to join.

What is meaning of water level sensor?

Level sensors are designed to detect the level of substances that flow. The idea behind a water level sensor is that it can detect the level of water in any given scenario.
