Smart houses are works-in-progress allowing centralized computers to control such aspects as lighting, climate control, and appliances. Some features would include timing of lights and remembering of dimming preferences, temperaure and humidity management, and automated control over cooking and laundry. Of course, the home owner would have complete control over all of these processes through access to a main console, which could also be controllable via the internet.

What are the issues in the wetlands?

They (whoever they are...) take the land, build houses, sell them, then the houses are effected by sinking or floods and the people (whoever was smart enough to buy one) goes off trying to repair and have the house wrecked again or they go and live somewhere else. That's what you get for messing with mother nature.
