Fountain pens generally have a clip on their cap for attaching them to a pocket, so they appear to be designed to be stored with the nib uppermost.
Not quickly, no. but in time it does.
If a metallic gel pen has ink, but isn't working, hold it with the writing tip facing down and tap it several times. Scribble with it on some plain (non-glossy) paper, and flick or tap it a few more times. You may need to clean the tip with a little alcohol as well. Whenever you are not using a gel pen, it is important to store them tip side down. Gravity really does a number on the gel, especially when they are not being used daily.
A Felt Tip pen has a tip that draws the ink from the pen and thru the tip onto the paper. A ball point pen has a metal time that houses a ball. When you press down on the tip and move it, the ball rolls and draws the ink from the pen and rolls it over to the paper.
Ink with in the pen, flows out down towards the tip, coming out slowly as you start to write on a piece of paper. Sometimes the ink drys up with in the pen. Sometimes in or around the tip, needing you to warm up the dry ink or clean the pen.
No its not. A felt tip pen is like a pen only with felt a calligraphy pens have metal tips or nibs that are flat and of various widths. In recent years there have been felt tipped caligraphy pens introduced that also have flat tips as opposed to the traditional pointed tips used for convential writing.
A fountain pen is a "stylo-plume" (masculine noun) in French. "Stylo" indicates a ball-point pen. "Plume" means feather, which were used to write in ancient times, by soaking the tip (obliquely cut) of the feather in ink. The word "plume" remained when metal tips replaced geese feathers.
the felt tip pen was invented in the 1940s

1. Lazlo biro was the first person to invent the ball point pen in 1888 2. Lewis Waterson was the 2nd person to invent the pen(fountain pen) 3. John Loud was the third/last person to invent the ballpoint pen 4. People have been using ballpoint pens for just about 300 years! 5. We use ball point pens because they are easier to write with and the tip doesn't snap like a pencil would, pencils just break if you push the tip of the led down 6. We use pens just about everyday
A Ballpoint pen has a round ball at the tip, which is used to control the flow of ink onto the page. Almost all modern pens are ballpoint, ballpoint pens are a relatively recent invention. The only common alternative to a Ballpoint pen is a Fountain pen. A Fountain pen is identifiable by the shape of its "nib", which is commonly a flat piece of metal with a channel down the middle which controls the flow of ink onto the page. Broadly speaking, the most common ballpoint pen you will find is a disposable type, with a thin tube of ink which will be visible from the outside if the casing is clear. Disposable pens are commonly marked with a coloured cap to indicate the colour of the ink inside. When writing with a ballpoint pen, it is usually neccessary to press the tip onto the page, or the ink will not come out in a regular fashion. As a consequence when writing on soft paper, in a pad for example there is usually a visible mark left on the pages below. This can be an advantage, as a layer of Carbon paper can be put behind the top page, and the carbon will be left on the page below, leading to "carbon copies". It is not normally practical to use a fountain pen with carbon copies, as by contrast, a fountain pen does not need a lot of pressure in order to write. Hence when the same person is writing they will normally have two distinct styles from which type of pen they use. There are some more expensive types of ballpoint which allow you to keep the pen and replace the ink supply, but Fountain pens are usually designed with a replaceable supply of ink in mind. Most modern types of fountain pen use an internal cartridge to store the reservoir of ink, although historically earlier fountain pens were supplied with ink by dipping the tip into a jar of ink, and some later types were designed to allow the ink to be "sucked up" through the nib into an internal reservoir. I hope this helps! i don't know through the way of writing
A Ballpoint pen is called "ein Kugelschreiber" or "ein Kulli" (for short).A fountain pen is called "eine Füllfeder".A marker or felt tip pen is called "ein Filzstift"A pencil is called "ein Bleistift".The word "Stift" is sometimes used for many writing implements in certain contexts.
Laszlo Biro, a Hungarian-Argentinian inventor, is credited with inventing the modern ballpoint pen in the 1930s. His design replaced the fountain pen with a ball that rotated at the tip to control the flow of ink, creating a smoother writing instrument.
