You will need to have your computer hooked up to a wireless router, like linksys(They can be bought at Best Buy or something....). With any DS game, you can format your DS to hook up to the internet using the router. (I only have the Pokemon games, but I hope this helped.)

Adding detail to my question... I have a laptop that has full wifi, and another with no wifi, and it cannot use an adapter... Is there any way I can connect wirelessly to a spare router I have, as well as my internet enabled router (I have a USB WiFi adapter I could use to make 2 connections), and then connect the laptop with no wifi to the spare router via ethernet to get internet? The laptop with wifi is windows 8, and the other is fedora 19. Thanks!
