1) Take slow, deep breaths

2) Empty your mind of any & all voluntary thoughts

3) Prepare in advance. Exposing yourself to indirect sunlight

causes production of endorphins which relax the body naturally.

4) Try a glass of milk. While there is no scientific evidence of milk

actually being a sleep aid, it can be comforting & thus relaxing.

5) Meditation also works. Relax one part of your body at a time.
