Made in Belgium between 1885 and 1905 by Dumoulin and imported specifically for the Wyeth Hardware Co of St Joseph MO, who sold it via catalog sales.
F. Dumoulin & Company, Belgium, c. 1894-1930. This gun was made for the American market, so it would have been earlier than 1914 since WW1 stopped the import of firearms from Europe and after the war there were plenty of domestic manufacturers. If it says Fine Steel instead of Fine Damascus Steel, it would have been made after 1900.
No. What would the company that produced the finest American double barrel shotgun want with a utilitarian import?
No such thing as a 22 Shotgun.
Winchester did not make firearms in Belgium
I have a criterion 12 gauge shotgun with 30 inch barrels. the value of this gun is not much due to the mass production of the early 1900's the price is about 125.00 to 150.00 for one of these shotguns. I am currently looking for another one of these for parts as my gun has a broken stock.
it is a Stevens, parts are interchangeable...
No such model number.
Japan, Portugal and Belgium
Check the barrel and receiver
The age is pre World War II and the value can be anywhere from 2,000 dollars to over 5,000 dollars. This depends on the condition of the gun.
During the World War II years, when Remington took over production for Browning because the Belgium plant had been over run by the Nazi Germany armed forces.
I do not personally, but yes, there is a single shot rifle that can have the rifle barrel replaced with a shotgun barrel.
