Where the date is, the mint letters are on left in corner (where the curve of the edge meets the line above date section) - though most coins do not have the marks. There is also H letter sometimes. Both are in Birmingham, England. H = Heaton, KN = King's Norton.
The value of a 1918 penny largely depends on its condition and mint mark. Generally, a 1918 Lincoln penny in average condition is worth around 10 to 20 cents, while well-preserved specimens can fetch higher prices, especially if they are from the San Francisco mint (S mint mark) or in uncirculated condition. For precise valuation, it's best to consult a coin grading guide or a professional appraiser.
The 1918 British Penny was minted in London in 1918. Those with a "KN" Mint mark were minted at the King's Norton Metal Co., those with an "H" Mint mark were minted at the Heaton Mint, Birmingham. The reverse features a seated figure of Britannia with trident and shield. They were made from bronze, were 30.8 mmm in diameter and weighed 9.54 grams. The same design was used from 1911 to 1926.
Use a magnifying glass to look at the fold of Lincoln's coat, around the 8:00 position. The initials will be there, just like they are on all cents minted since 1918. If your coin has no mint mark, its value ranges from about a nickel in worn condition to a quarter in Almost Uncirculated. With a D mint mark, the range is 25¢ to $1.00 With an S, 15 to 75¢

Mark doesn't belong as it is a unit of currency that is not widely used like the Yen, Pound, Franc, and Penny.
