According to my research, Nickel silver looks silver but contains no silver at all. It is comprised of various alloys of copper, zinc, nickel and other metals that may include tin and lead (yikes). If you have Allergies to nickel, stay away from this. Also, the name should be a giveaway-there's nickel in it, and it's probably not pure, sterling or 925 silver, and it probably will never wear or shine like real or sterling silver.
I'd stay away from it. I recently found many items of jewelry on eBay made of this with seemingly real stones and really low prices, but it's just not worth it. Save your money, don't wear anything that could have lead in it, and don't risk a reaction to nickel (not pretty). Hope this helps.
