Perhaps a Limoges brooch dish is a style of brooch Limoges designed. It's a miniature transfer print plate with a miniature silver or gold tone metal plate mount. The miniature plate mount has a swing pin and (the ones I'm familiar with) a Trumpet-style lock on the back. It is signed on the back in several different ways, but always with 'Limoges' in the signature. I've also seen some with letters and numbers in a circle on the back of the plates. I don't know enough about them to tell you what the letters and numbers may mean, or if all I have seen have been authentic. They can either be worn, or hung on a doll house wall. YesterDaisy's
