All 1980 Canadian cents were struck in bronze. If you suspect you have an off-metal strike made on a nickel blank please test it with a magnet first; if it's made of pure nickel the coin will stick. If it is, you should have your coin evaluated to see if it was struck on a blank intended for another denomination. Otherwise, it's probably nothing more than an ordinary cent that's been discolored in some way.
Canada did not make cents out of silver in 1960.
You most likely have a coin that's been plated for use in jewelry. As such it is only worth face value.
1980 canadian one cent coin worth?
Do you have a colt python?
I have a Canadian Dime 1980 with smooth edges too but have no idea how much it is worth
On the Nickel was created in 1980.
Check it again. By 1980, all U.S. nickels had mint marks. That said, a 1985 nickel is worth 5 cents.
50-500 usd
The only dollar coins issued in 1980 were made of cupro-nickel, not silver. They're only worth face value.
Unfortunately neither dates are silver. After 1967 the Canadian dollars were made of Nickel. They are worth around 1 - 4 dollars in any condition below MS65
One cent, although I understand that the "melt value" of the metal it is composed of (95% copper and 5% tin and zinc) is closer to 1.5 cents (it is, by the way, illegal to melt down US coins for their metal value). In Proof condition, a 1980-S penny (minted in San Francisco) would be worth about $2.25.
value of any firearm depends on overall condition..................
Morgan dollars were minted from 1878 to 1904 and again in 1921. Susan B. Anthony dollars were minted in 1980 and they're made of copper-nickel, not silver and have no added value if found in change.
No, it depends on what the penny has been trough ex:a 2008 penny will weigh more than a 1980 penny because the 1980 penny would be wore down over time causing it to weigh less then a 2008 penny
