It has a bronze or copper outer ring with the words "ONE PENNY" and "MODEL" around the circumference of the obverse. The silver (or sometimes brass) insert has a bust of a young Queen Victoria with the words "VICTORIA REG" around the circumference.
On the reverse, the bronze or copper outer ring should be identical to the obverse. The silver insert has a large "1" in the middle.
