The majority of the Edward Elgar Twenty Pound notes all have around the same value for an uncirculated note. The notes that have a significantly higher value are "Cypher Notes" issued for the Millenium, the Queen Mothers 100th Birthday, the Queens Golden Jubilee and other commemorative occasions. The value of these notes is further increased by the inclusion of a gold or silver proof crown in the presentation package.

There was no British 1888 Five Pound coin minted. The Five Pound coin with the Jubilee portrait of the Queen was only minted for Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee year of 1887. During her reign the only other dates, with different designs, were 1839 and 1893. A number of forgeries dated 1888 are known.
You do not specify whose Silver Jubilee or the country the coin comes from. Presumably you refer to the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth in 1977. Many Commonwealth countries minted coins commemorating this event. If you got the coin in your change, it is probably only worth whatever is inscribed on it.
I have a 1837 /1897 Jubilee Victoria towel which is the size of a bath towel and is off white in color and red lettering and roses and fringe on the ends. Do you know the value?
Such a coin does not exist. The English have never produced a 4 Pound coin.

The face value of anything is whatever is written on it. The face value of a Pound, is a Pound.
