If it says sterling silver on it, it could be worth several hundred dollars weight wise to a numismatic store owner, who buys sterling according to the markets rate at approximately 20 dollars an ounce (10-27-2010). For a collector of silver plated items it may even be worth 20 to 150 dollars total if it helps to complete a silver plated set, as usually the tray completes the set for the silver plated creamer and sugar, etc. containers. If it isn't marked "sterling silver" then it would really only be worth what someone offers you, other than a keepsake of sentimental value to yourself as a possible family heirloom. lawrence_ingle@Yahoo.com
