I'm sure you came across a 1986 Canadian penny, just like i did, and wanted to find out how much it was worth, even if it was just one cent. I'm also sure that you saw the Answers.com answer come up first through Google, just like I did. Then you read that answer that says it's worth like 250,000 American dollars, or whatever the answer said, as of XX/XX/XXXX date. I'm sure it's just some little technicality that whoever provided the answer was manipulating when they gave that answer. That or the person was trolling.

I came across a website that said it was like $3 and something cents if it was in proof condition, which I think means the same as uncirculated condition. Nothing really special, but nice to know. Hope this helps you out.
