Yes, Vampires are stronger because they have more chromosomes then Werewolfs and also some Vampires are gifted with special abilities and werewolfs are not.No werewolves are at least 10-20 times stronger than vampires in their wolf forms making it very difficult for a vamps to attack them. Even in their human forms werewolves possess a strength that vampires do not. also vampires have more weaknesses than werewolves do.

vamires are deffinantly stronger. They are made of a material stronger than anything known to man. Basically (not to sound ignorant) but twikight has it pretty much all right. A vampire is is much stronger and has a lot more will and self control. Were wolves are angry time bombs waiting to explode and anything can set them off.

actually werewolves are stronger because in twilight they are not even werewolves they are just people who can change into wolves, so that means that simple ordinary wolfs can kill vampires easily. so just imagine how weak a vampire would be against a real werewolf. also in vanhelsing dracula the lord of all vampires can be killed by one ordinary were wolf and didn't even stand a chance.

Alone, they don't stand a chance against a skilled vampire, but together they can destroy one. In Twilight, Caius of the Volutri almost died fighting an actual werewolf, but he killed it a survived. The Twilight shapeshifters are strong, but not as strong as actual werewolves. They only survived the New Born battle because the Cullen's trained them. If they had gone alone to fight the New Born vampires, they would've be killed.

Besides Twilight, werewolves and vampires have battled and it always depended on the age of the vampre. Vampires grow stronger with time and since they can live forever, they can become the strongest being alive. Now, if a "young" vampire (outside of the Twilight mytho) fought a werewolf, he might stand a chace, but he would most likely be killed. Also, keep in mind that most werewolves can't change at will like Underworld. They are governed by the moon and only then do they become strong enough to kill a vampire. The vampire could kill them before the transformation finished.

So, in the end they are both strong and both can kill each other. Who cares who is strongest, they both are cool.
