From what i know he didn't have to go through any other Wrestling organizations. His father and grandfather and whole wrestling family of course had a huge influence on him getting a chance in pro wrestling. He trained with his dad and once they realized he had some potential he got some tryout matches because of recommendation by Pat Patterson.
