A man told me that he had been offered 500.00 dollars for a Nitro hunter. I responded, "Thats where two fools met, He was a fool for offering and you were a fool for not taking it". Might be a gun for fools with little retail value, but to some of us, this gun means something. The guns were bought for survival by old timers in this part of the country. That's why you probably won't find one in mint condition just like you won't find an old plow that is in mint condition. Lots of people have these guns as heirlooms. So, to use a cliche, that makes them "priceless" to some of us.
