in a sense its both..The men in it really do work hard to get strong and really do fight to win and get to the top and win the belt but the actual show itself is over-dramatized to make it more awesome,for instance when the head up to the ring with the smoke blowing and music blaring and the pretty women walking with them that's mainly for promotion of the sport so it appeals to more guys (IE also why there is a women's Wrestling section).
