Having read John Cena's bio on Wikapedia, it doesn't mention anything about the Marines, or any other military service, but he did attend 4 yrs of college.

John Cena attended a boarding school in Ashburnham, Massachusetts called Cushing Academy. From there he attended college where he graduated in 1998. He then was a chauffeur and a bodybuilder. In 2000 he was making his wrestling debut in Ultimate Pro Wrestling. No USMC affiliation.
