Kung Fu, as a martial art, developed over many centuries in China and cannot be attributed to a single dynasty. However, many of its techniques and philosophies were shaped during the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD) and further evolved during the Song Dynasty (960-1279 AD). The integration of various styles and influences from different periods contributed to what we recognize today as Kung Fu.
Wushu is derived from traditional kung fu after the Ming Dynasty in China.
