Same as all athletes...it depends on the level of training. Moderate amounts of protein and fat to facilitate recovery, fresh fruits and vegetables, and enough carbs to support the aerobic workout. I cant speak to higher levels of competition, but at state/regional it seemed like I spent at least as much time (and calories) running and lifting weights to support my technical training as I did throwing and pinning. Eat like you train.
