Where did they fight in the cold war?

The cold war was the escalation of defensive weapons production by the Americans and the Russians. and to a lesser degree the Western Europeans the idea was more likely then not to encourage huge amounts of money to be spent on ever more powerful weaponry to be replaced by even more sophisticated and lethal weaponry. this was a cold war because it was not an actual war it was more of an economic exercise started by the US arms lobby.
