I think they were some good company at that time. But then wcw and wwf/e got better so they didn't need them. Later on tna withdrew from nwa. now nwa is crappppppppppp!

Apparently a masked wrestler can be NWA Champion now. Back in the 1980's, there was a NWA bylaw stating a masked wrestler could not be champion.
