u cn wear either one but not both they are just a transition for shirt to pants and vest would cover up cumberbund anyways
i would suggest a white tux with a brown vest and tie. or you both can go all brown, and have him get a brown tux. but my suggestion would be the white.
Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nooo. a turtle neck would be too casual to go with the tux.

I live in China. My position requires me to attend many formal dinners and banquets (3-5/month). I have 6 tuxedos in style and colors, 12 different shirts and colors. I have vest and I have 2 double breasted vest with a silk collar pockets (looks like a coat without sleeves, the chicks love it) and pants to match. I wear this sometimes with blue jeans, less formal to clubs. I mix and match and find I like to wear without a vest or Cumber-bun most of the time (have many colors for each tux). I never have any comments other than positive. I don't think people really notice as today's styles are a little less strict. So be cool, do you're own thing unless there is a set dress code for the tux.
im guessing a suit or tux In truth it depends on if you are military or civilian. If you are in the military going to a military ball, most will require you to come in your dress uniform. Some will allow you to wear a tux. If you are civilian you should were a tux.
You date should wear a black tux and white shirt if you are wearing a nude and black lace dress.
Match just the tie and vest, or match the shirt. You can never go wrong with a black tux, but, because champagne is neutral, you have options. If possible, try to match the fabric as well as the color.
a tux, corsage, and a bow. if he's a dancer wear tights
Anything they want. Mostly a tux.
