They are looking for part-timers in the recruit ad on 9 Apr 2010, but the details are in Japanese, so obviously they are looking for Japanese-speaking part-timers based in Japan. It is a 1-year contract to commence in May 2010. Applications ends 30 Apr 2010.

It depends really, if you mean like episodes/ a chapter of manga in the Shonen Jump Magazine then your really asking for something big! If your a beginner or an amateur, then you must make sure you know that you have great skill in conveying your characters feelings and give a sense of depth to your work. To actually write for this sort of magazine from being a complete stranger (meaning you've had no experience) would be very rare, but, possible. I am no expert at this so please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure that you must complete a short 'Debut' Episode/ Chapter, at lease 30 pages long (but it varies for different magazines) and complete all the inking and toning with you and your team (if you choose to have one) the submit it (providing there accepting submitions at the time). If you get accepted, you will work for the magazine and a couple of years down the line, you could find your self to be the next creator of an amazing manga series such as Naruto or Death note!
