to be a manga-ka, maybe its good to go to manga school. which there are some English teaching school in Japan. some people are mangaka from when they are in middle school. so I guess u also need some talent to tell the truth.
I suggest reading a manga titled "Bakuman." It's about two teenagers who what to become manga-kas and it tells you LOADS of stuff about the manga industry and Shonen Jump. It is really good.

You would need to buy ink, paper and so on if you do not have Anime Studio which you can buy. Also you will have to find a publisher, and if you might need to translate it, it will take alot of effort and work to finish one volume
There is a Japanese Legend of Zelda manga. This manga was never translated officially but many "fanslations" can be found on the Internet. The manga exists for several of the games and follows the plot of the respective games. This manga is officially endorsed by Nintendo, but it is soley written by the manga-ka and is not considered canon. i know a site with Zelda manga on it, is called www.onemanga.com it has lots in there

Hiromu Arakawa is the manga-ka (story writer and artist) for Fullmetal Alchemist.
